About the author
A dancer, choreographer and Dance instructor, born in Pardes Hanna in 1987. Started his professional career at The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and Vertigo Dance Company.
He later worked with many independent choreographers in Israel. Since 2011 he works in the Dance field as an independent choreographer, creating and performing with his works locally and internationally, and runs workshops for diverse audiences. Since 2018 he is a creator-artist, supported by the Menashe Regional Council where he conducts most of his activities, while collaborating with the Dance Studio and the Rotem Charity.
His works are endowed with a unique and refined language of movement that explores the wisdom of the body, and expresses humanity and intimacy.
Awards and Grants
2011 – 1st place at the 2011 national Choreography competition, Machol Shalem Dance festival for creating “Dive”.
2012 – 3rd place at ILDANCE international choreography competition, Sweden, for creating “Dive”.
2012 – The Ehud Manor reward for creation encouragement by EMI.
2017 – 4th place at the Jerusalem International Choreography Competition, for creating “Nice to Beat You”.
2018 – Critic’s Choice award at the Hanover international Choreography competition, Germany, for creating “Nice to Beat You”. 2019 – 2nd place at the Copenhagen international Choreography competition.
